Will Millett

DipPFS Cert CII (MP)(ER)

Associate Financial Planner

In his previous career Will was a professional rugby player for over 6 years, before making his change into financial advice. In his first step into financial advice he trained and worked as a Paraplanner. This role required the compilation of detailed written reports for clients. This provided Will with excellent technical knowledge and a rounded understanding of the work required when providing advice. Will then made the step to become a Financial Planner and values many of the skills acquired as a sports person. He champions how transferable they have been in the financial advice sector and building trust and relationships.

Grayson Lewis and Will both believe that consistently striving to better yourself and expand your knowledge is the best way to provide a client centred approach. This ensures you have considered and understood all options available to provide a holistic approach to financial planning.

Will is an ardent believer in ongoing financial advice to provide the best outcome for clients. He says:

For me, financial advice should never be a transactional event. It is about working with people to understand their goals and intentions to support them throughout their journey towards retirement and beyond. No conversation is the same and it is important to ensure the depth and understanding in those conversations is developed to provide the best solutions for any given situation. Furthermore, knowing that if something changes along the way, we can be flexible and work together to adjust. At Grayson Lewis we will always be on hand to support and go that step further.

The value of an investment with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and may fall as well as rise. You may get back less than the amount invested.
