Nick Henbrey achieves Chartered Status

News

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has awarded the prestigious ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ title to Nick Henbrey, our Director at Grayson Lewis Financial Planning.

Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to individuals that meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability. All Chartered Financial Planners commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings.

Nick says that securing Chartered Financial Planner status is a landmark for him personally: “As soon as I began studying towards my career change, it has always been my goal to achieve Chartered and Fellowship. To now have also been awarded Chartered status is a very proud moment”.

Fellowship is the highest level of qualification available with the Chartered Insurance Institute, which in 2021 was only held by 9% of advisers (3,496 from a total of 39,748 CII members). Chartered status however is the widely accepted gold standard. This is only awarded to those who can demonstrate the required industry experience as well as committing to upholding professional and ethical standards.

To date, just over 5,000 individuals have achieved Chartered status, indicating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for the leading individuals within the financial advice market.
